This is a very basic content manager for you to try. The content below the dotted line is dynamic, this means that the page contains only placeholders below the line, whilst the text itself is stored in a database. This enables you to keep your web site up to date more conveniently. Rather than having to edit and upload your page again and again, you simply edit the database from within your browser and the page reflects your changes immediately - ideal for rapidly changing sites, blogs and chat rooms.

To edit the database you use an administration page (normally protected with a password) where you can enter your new content and then send it to the database with the click of a mouse. Try it for yourself - click here to edit the database.
